It's September 1, summer is over, and it's time to start getting excited for Halloween with LEGO's new Build a Minifigure options.
Three new suggested designs of minifigures using Build a Minifigure elements have been spotted in LEGO stores by Brick Fanatics, meaning that spooky season has well and truly begun. The most Halloween-y of them all is, of course, the familiar pumpkin-headed minifigure. While the pumpkin itself, with its rather threatening cutout, is not a new element, the green-striped torso with Happy Halloween on it does appear to be new, giving the effect of a green pumpkin for the body as well. He holds a black lantern as his accessory, presumably to light his way through pumpkin patches.
Next up is Tree Man, who has taken an entire tree trunk for his Halloween costume. Sporting what looks like a plain brown torso and legs underneath, he is carrying a watering can to tend to his plant friends with. Finally, we also have Cat Lady, wearing the tried-and-tested classic Halloween costume of some cat ears. She will also be the entertainment of this minifigure Halloween party, bringing a saxophone as her accessory. She is wearing what looks like another new torso, complete with polkadot printing and a bowtie.
While we spotted these three in easy-to-grab packs of three, LEGO stores will often display their Build a Minifigure packs differently. Plus, you'll likely be able to mix and match your own accessories and elements in the Build a Minifigure area to design a character you prefer. At the time of writing, however, you will need to head to your LEGO store in person, as these elements don't appear on the online Build a Minifigure options.
