LEGO Store coming to Sydney

Australia’s best known city will finally get a LEGO Store in a few short weeks.

While Australia has a couple of LEGO StoresLEGO Certified Stores for the pedants – there has not been one in the national’s beloved city of Sydney, until now. On March 21, Westfield Bondi Junction will become home to a branded brick store, SBS News reports.

The new shop promises to include inspiring interactive experiences, with all of the hands-on opportunities that LEGO fans are used to from the branded shopping destinations. Displays will include Sydney icons such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Its footprint will be 302 square metres, plenty of space to pack in the full LEGO range – including the exclusives.

Additional features will include The Brick Cave – an area dedicated to playing host to children’s parties – while this is common at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, it is not common at traditional LEGO Stores. Custom brick engraving will also be an option at the retail destination.
