LEGO Icons 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station GWP revealed

The newly-revealed LEGO Icons 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House will come with an exclusive day-one gift-with-purchase in the form of 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station.

Adding two more characters to the already stacked roster of the main set in the form of Joyce and Hopper, 40891 Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station serves up a 234-piece vignette of the radio station that plays a significant role in Season 5 of the Netflix series. It will be free when purchasing 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House from January 1 at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.

There’s no end date to that promo yet, but it will likely be for a week or so (or while stocks last, which invariably won’t be for the entire promotional period). The minifigures themselves look to be assembled almost entirely from existing pieces, save for Hopper’s beard – which is new in dark tan – so you can probably put them together yourself (with a replacement beard) if you can’t swing for the GWP.

What you won’t get are the scene-specific stickers that decorate the gift-with-purchase, such as those on the window panes of the radio booth. If you want a complete LEGO Stranger Things collection, you’re going to have to bite the bullet on New Year’s Day and order 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House as soon as it goes live. The 2,593-piece set retails for £249.99 / $299.99 / €279.99.
