LEGO Super Mario 2021 sets now available at LEGO.com

The LEGO Group has launched the upcoming wave of LEGO Super Mario sets early through its online store.

The latest batch of expansion sets, Power-Up Packs and Character Packs was originally scheduled to launch on January 1, 2021. But fans in the UK and Germany can already order the new wave, or – if your local LEGO Store is open – pick it up in-store.

Here’s every LEGO Super Mario 2021 set available right now:

71380 Master Your Adventure Maker Set
71381 Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter
71382 Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge
71383 Wiggler’s Poison Swamp
71384 Penguin Mario Power-Up Pack
71385 Tanooki Mario Power-Up Pack
71386 Character Packs – Series 2

Fans in other territories – including the US – will still have to wait for January 1 to grab the Nintendo-themed sets. But unless you’re happy to pay for express shipping, the early access won’t help much in the UK – standard delivery is currently suspended, owing to France’s recent border closure.

If you want to take advantage of any of these sets, you’ll need to pick up a copy of 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course. It’s the only set that includes the digital Mario figure that brings all the other platforms, enemies and obstacles to life.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
