LEGO unveils Super Mario offers, bundles and free gifts for Mario Day

The LEGO Group is celebrating Mario Day with free gifts, VIP rewards and three new bundles of LEGO Super Mario sets, each with a bonus stash of VIP points and My Nintendo points.

Available from March 10 to 24, the three bundles are part of a range of activities and special offers the LEGO Group is running to celebrate MAR10 Day (March 10 – it’s not subtle). As well as bonus VIP points and My Nintendo points across these bundles, you’ll net two free LEGO Super Mario polybags with qualifying purchases.

Spend £60 / $60 / €60 on Super Mario sets between March 10 and 24, and you’ll see 30389 Fuzzy & Mushroom set and 30385 Super Mushroom Surprise added to your order free of charge (while stocks last). That includes standalone purchases or your own configuration of sets, as well as the preset bundles available from March 10.

You can also pick up a free LEGO Super Mario collectible coin by taking your digital Mario or Luigi figure to your local LEGO Store, and either waving at or taking a picture with the LEGO Super Mario cut-out. Finally, you can spend your VIP points in the VIP Rewards Centre on exclusive rewards, and entries into sweepstakes to win Super Mario sets.

Grabbing the Team-Up Bundle or both of the other bundles will also open up multiplayer, which the LEGO Group added to the theme with Luigi in 2021.

While these sets are all current releases, we’ve also now got our first look at the LEGO Super Mario sets coming our way later this year in 71408 Princess Peach’s Castle.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
