LEGO takes to the track with sponsorship of Formula 4 team
The LEGO Group is set to sponsor a Formula 4 team in an ever-expanding web of partnerships between the toy company and motorsports.
Le Mans will host GP Explorer 3’s The Last Race between October 3 and 5, bringing Formula 4’s GP Explorer event to an end three years after its launch in 2022. For this farewell single-seater race, the LEGO Group is getting in on the action by sponsoring one of the 12 teams, made up of drivers Djilsi and Maxime Biaggi.
The livery has already been revealed, complete with the LEGO logo in at least two places, along with a dedicated space for the LEGO Insiders logo. The race will be broadcast live online via the Squeezie Twitch channel if you want to see the LEGO-branded car hit the track.

This comes after the LEGO Group has invested heavily in its partnership with Formula 1 in 2025, releasing sets across Speed Champions, Icons, Technic, DUPLO, and a collectible series. If there are any sets on the way associated with its Formula 4 sponsorship, there’s yet to be a whisper or a rumour of them at the time of writing, but you never know what could be around the corner.
The LEGO Group has had a presence at Formula 1 Grands Prix throughout the year, so it seems likely that there will be some similar event at The Last Race, although that’s not confirmed as of yet.
