LEGO Technic Chevrolet Stingray set rumoured for 2025

A new LEGO Technic Chevrolet set is now rumoured to be racing to shelves in 2025 as further details for the theme’s range next year surface.

Itavix_bricks on Instagram has shared a rumour from the reliable brick_clicker, reporting that the previously-rumoured 42205 LEGO Technic 2025 set will be a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which has a new vehicle releasing in 2025.

The price for 42205 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is still rumoured to be $59.99 for 732 pieces, possibly putting it on the same scale as 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar and 42196 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica Orange but seemingly with a $10 price increase.

Exactly what colour the car creation could come in is unknown but official imagery for the 2025 version of the car has it predominantly in red. LEGO Technic Chevrolet sets aren’t too common with 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in 2023 and 42093 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in 2019.

The Instagram user also shares, again from brick_clicker, that 42203 Tipping Dump Truck is coming in March next year for $49.99 with 462 pieces, filling in the blanks for the list of rumoured LEGO Technic 2025 sets. Take all LEGO rumours with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made as we near the start of the new year and the season of new LEGO reveals.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
