The smallest LEGO Technic Ducati to date is on the way in August, this time taking on a different type of motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer.
Technic’s Ducati garage so far consists of 2020’s 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R and 2025’s 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S Motorcycle, which tackle relatively similar vehicles at different scales. 42238 Ducati Desmo450 MX Factory Motorcycle serves up something completely different, adapting the brand’s first motocross machine with just 457 elements.
It looks to do a lot with a relatively meagre piece count though, incorporating a single-cylinder engine driven by a chain from the bike’s rear axle and both front and rear suspension. Those feel like the essential ingredients for a set like this, along with a display stand that’ll stop it toppling over on your shelf.
