LEGO The Legend of Zelda 2026 set review offers closer look

Early reviews of the LEGO The Legend of Zelda 2026 set have offered a closer look at the figure integration, minifigures and an additional reference.

We’re just over a month away from the launch of 77093 Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle on March 1, 2026, and early reviews of the set have started to drop. This includes a quick look from Hoth Bricks, who have shown off some exciting new details regarding the build.

The second full LEGO The Legend of Zelda set includes new minifigures of Zelda and Ganondorf, with dual-sided face prints across the board. Ganondorf’s alternate face print features a pair of yellow eyes and a stern expression. It has also now been confirmed that Ganondorf has full printing under his armour, which will be useful for those opting to display Ganondorf without the bulky accessory.

The Ganondorf minifigure’s size, compared to the larger Ganon figure, has also been showcased. It understandably overshadows the character but the two look good when displayed apart from the rest of 77093 Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle, in case you don’t have as much room for display.

Most of the pieces in the boss battle build go towards the arena itself, which features a few Easter eggs, such as Ganon emerging from the rubble and the Megaton Hammer in the tower. Now that a closer look at the set has been revealed, another reference has been confirmed.

A trio of hearts are hidden away at the front of the rubble, paying tribute to the health icons featured in the Ocarina of Time game. Alternatively, these might be pieces of heart, in which case LEGO Link is just one piece away from getting more health.

The look at the bare base also reveals the two spots for Ganon’s feet to clip into to stand sturdily and safely when on display. Official images had his feet sitting more loosely, and it’s good to see a safer option featured in the set.

LEGO The Legend of Zelda 77093 Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle will be released on March 1, 2026, for £99.99 / $129.99 / €119.99, and it is available to pre-order now.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
