LEGO The Lord of the Rings teaser shows strange reflection

The LEGO Group’s latest social media teaser appears to be showcasing a The Lord of the Rings set in the One Ring’s reflection.

Arriving on Twitter and other platforms earlier today, the LEGO Group has shared a new teaser, which usually comes before the reveal of a set or a theme. Based on the specific brick used in this teaser, it seems likely to be teasing more LEGO The Lord of the Rings following the three BrickHeadz sets earlier this year.

The minifigure in this scene is likely Bilbo as one of the few Hobbits who has interacted with the scene and Frodo was never known to wear much white in the movies. However, it’s the ring the minifigure drops and the reflection within it that is the most interesting.

Reflected in the ring is a structure that seems to follow the architectural design of Rivendell. Whether or not this is teasing a LEGO Rivendell set has yet to be confirmed, though we know more soon provided teasers are anything to go by.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings returned in full at the start of 2023 with a theme page on LEGO.com and three BrickHeadz pairs available to buy now, including the first LEGO Balrog.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
