LEGO The Simpsons’ rumoured return in 2025 may look different

LEGO The Simpsons seems set to return in 2025 according to rumours, but it might not look the same as it was 10 years ago.

LEGO The Simpsons has been missing from the world of minifigures since 2015 and the franchise has been missing from LEGO entirely since 2018’s BrickHeadz double pack. Thankfully, that’s rumoured to change next year but it’s still far from confirmed so take everything stated with a pinch of salt in case.

A LEGO 2025 direct-to-consumer set’s rumoured codename combined with comments and teases from a reliable source all suggests that the return of LEGO The Simpsons is coming next year and looking back on what we’ve had in years gone by, you’ll probably want to expect some changes.

That’s not to say that the specialised moulded heads are going anywhere, but it’s a topic discussed in-depth in our latest YouTube video, which you can watch by clicking above. The previous LEGO The Simpsons sets were both accompanied by a Collectible Minifigures series to expand on the characters already available in the larger models while offering a more affordable alternative.

Such an extensive array of new or returning elements is not currently rumoured for the return and looking at other larger licensed LEGO sets from recent years, the likes of 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter and 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell posit that lots of characters in one set may be more likely.

Whatever happens, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for LEGO The Simpsons, if anything, based on these 2025 rumours and you can stay up to date on what to expect in our new video.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
