LEGO Timelines DK book officially revealed

A new LEGO book documenting decades of LEGO sets is coming later this year as the latest title in the LEGO Group’s partnership with DK.

Amazon has revealed a new LEGO book from DK, offering a tour through 100 years of LEGO history and the various collections of sets. The cover, which does not depict the final design, includes everything from Castle and the original wooden toys to Monkie Kid and 40516 Everyone is Awesome. The description states that this will cover ten decades of history, but it likely means nine, unless we’re getting a preview of the next decade.

A preview of some pages showcases that there will be guides to minifigure accessories, themes, collections of sets within themes including the Fairground Collection and more. Overall, LEGO Timelines will have at least 75 illustrated timelines (though the description says it has 100) and include licensed themes such as LEGO Star Wars over 256 pages.

LEGO Timelines launches on September 5, 2024, for £25 but Amazon is offering a £2 discount on pre-orders of the book now. Expect the cover and other elements of the design to change before release, as many LEGO books frequently do.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
