LEGO Toy Story Book Nook rumoured for 2026
A LEGO Toy Story Book Nook is rumoured to be slinking on to shelves in 2026, marking the LEGO debut of a classic Pixar character.
Reliable LEGO rumour reporter a.clay.brick claims (via a Brick Tap source) that a Toy Story Slinky Dog Book Nook is coming next year, following this summer’s trio of LEGO book nooks across Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings and Sherlock Holmes. Each of those takes a different approach to the format, and two of them tackle brand new subjects for the LEGO Group as a whole.
This supposed Toy Story set would tick at least one of those boxes, bringing Slink to a LEGO set for the first time. LEGO Toy Story sets first debuted in 2010 alongside the third movie, then returned with more traditional minifigures in 2019 to accompany Toy Story 4 – but absent across all those sets was Slinky Dog. He’s the kind of character who would work very well in book nook form, though.

More specifically, he’d work really well as bookends, split down the middle of his metal slinky midsection. That’s just one format we could see the LEGO Group taking for a Slinky-themed book nook, but we don’t have any other details to go on at the moment, so we’re only openly speculating there – although there is precedent for LEGO bookends within the current range.

76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express can fold up into a more traditional book nook or split apart into separate bookends. The LEGO Group’s willingness to play around with the format of its book nooks so early into the lifespan of the concept could therefore be to the advantage of a future Toy Story set, but take its existence with the usual grain of salt until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group.
10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook, 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook and 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express are all available now.
