New LEGO Vietnam factory gets its own exclusive model

Guests in attendance at the opening of the new LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam location were able to score an exclusive 346-piece set.

The LEGO Group announced today that it has officially opened the doors of its newest and most sustainable factory to date. Located in Binh Duong province in southern Vietnam, LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam is the company’s sixth such factory and only the second to be found in Asia.

Those in attendance at the 44-hectare facility were not only able to rub shoulders with the likes of LEGO Group CEO Niels B. Christiansen and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chính, but also had the opportunity to get their hands on an exclusive new LEGO model.

LEGO 4000043 Vietnam 2025 Factory

Reddit user Frantic_Pedantic has posted the first image of 4000043 Vietnam 2025 Factory, with the 346-piece set recreating the location in microscale. Even at that size the facility’s solar panels can clearly be spotted on the roof of the building, and the model also appears to include what may be a printed name tile on its black-bordered base.

Unfortunately, there are no additional images of 4000043 Vietnam 2025 Factory so far and just the one angle of the model for potential collectors to pore over for now.

As is the case with similar sets available from the LEGO Inside Tour, such as last year’s 4000042 The Vault Memory Lane, it’s unlikely that many copies of 4000043 Vietnam 2025 Factory will make it out into the wild, although any that do may cost a pretty penny on the secondary market.

In addition to being the company’s most environmentally friendly factory to date, LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam will also be the first to produce paper-based pre-pack bags, as part of the LEGO Group’s goal to create more sustainable packaging by the end of 2025.
