LEGO wants your Disney builds for the 100th anniversary

The LEGO Group’s previously announced Disney 100th anniversary celebrations will include some custom builds and you’re invited to take part.

A new form from the LEGO Group has revealed a new request for AFOL toy photography and custom builds based on Disney moments for the 100th anniversary.

Those who would like to see their creations appear on the LEGO Group and Disney’s official channels need only fill out the linked form to register their interest. Information required for the form includes confirmation of age and which LEGO User Group you are part of.

The form states that the models most likely to be featured will be those associated with Disney history, Disney Parks and Disney animated films. Thankfully, those topics cover a wide variety of genres, characters and sources so you shouldn’t struggle for ideas

Outside of this campaign, the LEGO Group will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Disney with new sets. The first has been revealed as 40622 Disney 100th Celebration, including four BrickHeadz depicting iconic and significant characters in Disney’s history. You can pick it up starting February 1, 2023, though more models have been rumoured, as listed in the table below:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
