LEGO wins fan-voted award for best booth at SDCC 2025
The LEGO Group has won a fan-voted award for the best booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, named as a ‘love letter to the convention itself’.
The SDCC Unofficial Blog has announced the results of this year’s fan-voted Shruggie Awards, naming the best and worst of the convention, including the highly coveted award for best booth. The results of this challenge were entirely determined by attendees in a vote, and the LEGO Group has been awarded the title of best booth.
The LEGO Group’s booth for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was themed around the event itself, with a LEGO recreation of the convention hall and its interior (with fans invited to build booths) at the core, with the usual new sets on show around the edge and giant posters suspended from the ceiling.

It’s a creative concept for the booth, which in previous years has been based on LEGO Space and a familiar chain of video rental stores. Though the number of votes the booth received has not been disclosed, it was evidently a hit with fans.
The location of the massive San Diego Comic-Con model is not currently known, but it would be great to see it return in future years at the LEGO Group’s booth as an annual point of interaction for fans. San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is now over, and it has not been confirmed whether the LEGO Group will return as an exhibitor in 2026, when the event will take place from July 22 through July 26.
