LEGO World Builder hosts Earth Day design project

Have you got an artist’s hand and a green thumb, if so this LEGO World Builder design project might be for you.

LEGO World Builder is continuing to host design projects to build its collection of inspiring imagery for new worlds, while also offering a cash incentive for some especially good artworks.

Just like the platform did with women of history, another banner design project is now underway on the Tongal website. This time, the theme is celebrating the upcoming Earth Day event on April 22. Any uploaded entries will be added to the image gallery that can be used by LEGO World Builder architects for their ideas for new themes and ideas.

However, there is at least some other incentive for artists to take part with a minimum of three designers to receive $250 each for their work. Images must be kept under the 1600×800 size in a JPG or PNG format and can be uploaded by the design project’s webpage.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about LEGO World Builder, then it’s a new platform developed in partnership with Tongal to provide the LEGO Group with unique ideas for themes or other projects. This notably includes a series of NINJAGO short films and an upcoming holiday special, all designed by fans.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
