LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey finds Master Model Builder

LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey has recruited the attraction’s Master Model Builder.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey, based in American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA, has held the Brick Factor event to find the attractions’s Master Model Builder. Now, one of four finalists has been awarded what to many sounds like a dream job.

Four finalist candidiates faced the unique audition process, having to complete creative LEGO challenges and building original brick models in themed roles. The final round saw the two finalist candidates building their favourite New Jersey landmark with help from child judges.

Matthew Grubin from Brooklyn was the winner of Brick Factor and is the New Jersey venue’s new Master Model Builder. His role will unclude developing new models, keeping the existing models in great condiition and of course interacting with the children who will visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Center when it opens next spring.

The new LEGOLAND Discovery Center will open in spring 2021. It will be open to families with children but not adults without children, except for any special AFOL evening events that may be scheduled.
