Every licensed motorcycle set from LEGO Technic and beyond
Reports of another licensed LEGO Technic motorcycle from a manufacturer new to the LEGO Group make it the latest in a long line of sets.
According to a listing from Italian retailer Terminal Video, 42170 Kawasaki Ninja H2R is coming in 2024 for LEGO Technic enthusiasts to enjoy. This could be the first LEGO Kawasaki set, adding to the surprisingly long list of manufacturers with at least one LEGO set. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed and should be taken with caution.
Stepping beyond the boundaries of LEGO Technic but keeping things firmly on two wheels, here’s every licensed LEGO motorcycle from their respective manufacturers in alphabetical order.
BMW
BMW has two LEGO motorcycle models at the time of writing, both in LEGO Technic. This includes the only licensed off-road motorcycle build – 42063 BMW R 1200 GS Adventure and 42130 BMW M 1000 RR. The latter is currently available and is one of the biggest LEGO motorcycles ever designed.
Ducati
Ducati only has only LEGO motorcycle set, also part of LEGO Technic, but its price makes it more affordable than most sets on this list. 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R is available now for £59.99 / $79.99 / €69.99 but it’s retiring at the end of 2023.
Harley-Davidson
One of the few massive LEGO motorcycle models not part of Technic, LEGO Icons 10269 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is one of two builds designed in partnership with the manufacturer – the other being an in-store promotional set.
Vespa
Vespa has two LEGO motorcycle (or at least two-wheeled vehicle) sets as well, though both are currently available and were widely released for purchase. In red, 40517 Vespa is smaller but more affordable at £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99. In blue, 10298 Vespa 125 is available now for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and the two were released at the same time and offered different approaches to the same source material.
Yamaha
The latest manufacturer to be added to the list of motorcycle manufacturers with a LEGO set is Yamaha thanks to LEGO Technic 42159 Yamaha MT-10 SP. You can read our review of this huge model by clicking here. Whether Kawasaki is added to this list in 2024 or not, you can grab this build and its functional gearbox for £199.99 / $239.99 / €229.99.
