First look at LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary set 75383 Sith Infiltrator

An online retailer has published the first images of LEGO Star Wars 75383 Sith Infiltrator, complete with a 25th-anniversary minifigure of Saw Gerrera.

German retailer Lucky Bricks has shared images of the May 1 release, which is said to include 640 pieces, over on its Instagram page. Arriving as the first minifigure-scale Scimitar since 2015’s 75096 Sith Infiltrator, the new set includes four minifigures: Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin Skywalker and – for the first time ever – Saw Gerrera.

Saw’s presence only makes sense as a 25th anniversary character, following hot on the heels of Darth Malak in 75379 R2-D2 and ARC Trooper Fives in 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV in March. He’s the third of six promised LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigures coming in 2024, and like the first two includes a dedicated display stand with a printed base.

Darth Maul and Anakin are both technically brand new minifigures too, with a new face print for Maul that gives him solid yellow Sith eyes (a la Emperor Palpatine in 75352 Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama) and a new choice of hairpiece for Anakin, borrowed from characters including 75323 The Justifier’s Omega (only recoloured in dark tan).

Qui-Gon’s faceprint looks new too, if only slightly different from previous versions, while it’s great to see his poncho return from 75096 Sith Infiltrator. Finally, Saw Gerrera is brand new from head to toe, with body armour, a printed cape and a staff making up a pretty cool minifigure. This one’s long overdue, too: the community has been crying out for a LEGO Saw Gerrera since he debuted on the silver screen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in 2015.

As for the build itself, 75383 Sith Infiltrator offers a fresh approach to Darth Maul’s personal transport, coming in smaller than the previous iteration while still packing in three probe droids and a tiny speeder for the Sith Lord. It’s due to retail for €69.99 in Europe, so we’re probably looking at around £59.99 in the UK and $69.99 in the US.

We’ll hopefully get confirmation on those international prices later today, if and when 75383 Sith Infiltrator appears on LEGO.com.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
