A new trailer for Marvel Studios' Echo has revealed a mature rating for the Disney+ series, making its LEGO minifigure a rarity.
The LEGO Group does not frequently explore properties with mature ratings. However, the latest trailer for Marvel Studios' Echo has revealed a rarity in the minifigure world. The end of the notably gory trailer (in comparison to other Marvel Studios projects) confirms that the series has received a TV-MA rating in the US and is likely to have just as high a rating in other regions.
That's especially interesting as this is one of the few Marvel Studios Disney+ series to have LEGO representation via a minifigure in
Provided this is accurate, that makes the Echo minifigure one of the few (or potentially only to our knowledge) LEGO minifigures to be based on a project that has received a high age rating.

It has also been confirmed that Echo is the start of a new collection for Marvel Studios named Marvel Spotlight, that will focus on character-driven stores that prioritise the story over connections with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Marvel Spotlight gives us a platform to bring more grounded, character-driven stories to the screen, and in the case of Echo, focusing on street-level stakes over larger MCU continuity," shared Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming at Marvel Studios.
"Just like comics fans didn’t need to read Avengers or Fantastic Four to enjoy a Ghost Rider Spotlight comic, our audience doesn’t need to have seen other Marvel series to understand what’s happening in Maya’s story.”
All five episodes of Echo are scheduled to be released on January 10, 2024, on Disney+ and Hulu and the minifigure is available now in
