The set’s brand-new element is designed to concentrate light, just like a real Fresnel lens. This creates an authentic light effect at the top of the white tower, while the inside of the brick-built tower is a cosy base for the lightkeeper and the sailor.
What’s more, the exterior of 21335 Morotised Lighthouse is just as cleverly designed, from the rocky base of the island to the LEGO rowing boat that the two minifigures can use to get to and from the lighthouse. If they explore far enough around the compact island, they might even find a pirate’s cave full of brick-built treasure.
