Massive LEGO Pokémon model revealed, including starters

A huge LEGO Pokémon Scarlet and Violet model is now on display, including builds for several Pokémon promoted by The Pokémon Company.

While it is not an official partnership between the LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company, the Project Eevee X account has showcased a huge Naranja Academy model based on the school seen in Pokémon Scarlet. It will soon be showcased further on the official Pokémon Kids TV YouTube Channel.

This colossal creation was designed and built by the University of Tokyo’s LEGO club, who have worked on massive models for gaming companies before. Keep in mind that this is likely in no way partnered with the LEGO Group officially, just as was the case with their Final Fantasy creation.

Still, it’s a notable moment for those who have been hoping for official LEGO Pokémon sets as it offers a taste of what such a partnership could look like. An official Pokémon X account has even highlighted the model’s recreations of Sprigatito, Quaxly and Fuecoco. There’s also what could be Psyduck in another picture.

All of these should be easy to recreate via Pick a Brick or with parts in your collection and it’s as close to official LEGO Pokémon models as we’re likely to get.

The LEGO Naranja Academy is available to view now at an event currently being held until May 19 on the University of Tokyo’s campus, as stated on the website.

While The Pokémon Company is officially promoting the build, remember that it likely has nothing to do with the LEGO Group and does not indicate the start of a partnership between the two companies. This is likely just a fan creation that The Pokémon Company has taken a liking to.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
