Mattel Brick Shop reveals first seven products in Hot Wheels Collector Builds collection
Mattel Brick Shop has revealed its first seven products, unveiling the Hot Wheels Collector Builds with three distinct ranges at launch.
Mattel has announced the launch of the first-ever product collection under its new Mattel Brick Shop umbrella, built in collaboration with Hot Wheels. The seven collectible building sets are available now for pre-order at select retailers around the world and will hit retail shelves later this summer.
Each set is based on a different car, with a focus on accurate details and proportions and customisation options. The builds also include real metal parts, allowing fansof Hot Wheels to customise their own favourite vehicles. Every building set comes with a 1:64th scale matching die-cast to collect as well.
“This is only the beginning,” said Roberto Stanichi, executive vice president, Global Head of Vehicles and Building Sets at Mattel, during a press launch attended by Brick Fanatics. “We already have new vehicles and series already in development that we can’t wait to show you for 2026. Beyond Hot Wheels, Mattel Brick Shop will continue to launch new lines with both new and familiar IP to bring fans new building experiences that elevate play and display features.”
That certainly sounds like Mattel Brick Shop won’t be stopping at cars, with the possibility of releasing more brick-built sets across its other IP. Some brands under the Mattel umbrella include Barbie, American Girl, and much more. Even within Hot Wheels, Mattel has the license for 76 car brands, underlining the space it has to grow down the line.
For now, however, Mattel Brick Shop’s first Hot Wheels building sets will launch across three series, with different price points for different scales: Hot Wheels Speed Series, priced at $19.99; Hot Wheels Elite Series, priced at $49.99, and Hot Wheels Premium Series, priced at $119.99. We’ve broken down the difference between the three series below, as well as details on the first seven sets.
Hot Wheels Speed Series

Within this range at the lowest end of the price scale, there are three cars now available to pre-order for $19.99 each. The three cars on offer are: the Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar, which features racing graphics (which you can fine-tune with custom decals) and opening doors; the Maserati MC20, complete with butterfly doors and a visible motor; and the Custom ’68 Camaro, featuring metallic exhaust pipes and swappable wheel covers.
Each set allows fans to enhance their builds with additional wheel covers and licensed decals, while also including a matching 1:64 metal car for display and collection.
Hot Wheels Elite Series

Next up is the the Elite Series, climbing up a price point to $49.99 each for the 10+ age range. Once again, you can customise each of the three cars with extra parts, metal wheel covers, and licensed decals and each comes with a matching 1:64 metal car to collect and display.
The three cars included in this range are the Corvette Grand Sport, the ’90 Acura NSX, and the Custom ’62 Chevy Pickup, as pictured above. The first comes with metallic exhaust pipes and swappable parts to make your own.
The Acura features pop-up headlights, functional steering and swappable license plates, so you can choose whether to display it as an Acura or Honda NSX. Last but not least, the Chevy has an exposed engine, adjustable suspension, and a surfboard for a fitting accessory.
Hot Wheels Premium Series

The largest and most detailed series features just one car, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, priced at $199.99 and aimed at those aged 17 and up. Built with metal parts, including extra metal wheel covers and licensed decals for customisation possibilities, as well as a matching 1:64 metal car to collect and display like the other series, the Premium Series is the most geared towards a detailed display.
The Mercedes model recreates the car in 1:12 scale, complete with opening doors, a metal Mercedes-Benz crest, and luxe interior detailing.
All seven products across the three lines from Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels are available now for pre-sale at select retailers globally and will hit retail shelves this summer.
