Mbappé meets LEGO Mbappé in new Editions video
The LEGO Editions promotion continues as Mbappé comes face-to-face with his minifigure and Football Highlights set in the latest legendary video.
It’s not just Messi that is meeting his LEGO Editions models on social media, as the LEGO Group has shared a second piece of marketing for the new sets, featuring Kylian Mbappé. The Real Madrid player hasn’t received the same treatment as Messi in LEGO Editions, which includes a trio of models. Instead, he appears in just 43013 Kylian Mbappé – Football Highlights.
This hasn’t stopped some excited reactions from the footballer, though, especially as the set’s various references are explained. The video is also a useful guide to these references for those of us with less knowledge of the sport.
Those references include an M for Mbappé, the colours of the French flag and a build of the Arc de Triomphe to commemorate his projection on the landmark to celebrate France’s victory over Croatia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final.
43013 Kylian Mbappé – Football Highlights will be released on May 1, 2026, for £24.99 in the UK, $29.99 in the US, and €29.99 in Europe. It features an exclusive Mbappé minifigure and a 490-piece diorama inspired by the footballer’s history.
With these two videos under the LEGO Group’s belt, we’ll be watching closely for more promotional LEGO Editions material based on the rest of the footballer-inspired sets.
