Are monthly mini builds coming to the official online LEGO store?

The monthly mini builds have seemingly returned as a 2020 model lands on the official online LEGO store as a late, or maybe very early, seasonal item.

Despite the news that monthly mini builds would be retiring from physical LEGO stores, one of the 2020 models has appeared on the UK version of LEGO.com, indicating that the LEGO Group may be looking to offload stock of other past mini builds too.

40398 Easter Bunny has been added to the official online store for UK builders and will set you back £2.49, making it the perfect model to add to your basket to pass over any offer thresholds – such as the upcoming Adidas GWP.

The 43-piece build is exactly as you’d expect, depicting a small rabbit with a patch of carrots to pick from. As far as features go, you can move the ears but otherwise this model might be best as part of a larger display or maybe as a long-eared friend on your desk.

The presence of this set in the polybags section of LEGO.com might be hinting that more previous years could be on the way now that the program is over and the LEGO Group are potentially looking to sell off any remaining stock.

We’ll keep you updated if we spot any more monthly mini builds on the official online store but it might be wise to keep an eye on 40398 Easter Bunny in case you need a small model to add on to any larger purchases, or if you’re just looking for a miniature building experience.
