LEGO monthly mini builds are retiring in LEGO Stores

The monthly mini builds once offered for free in LEGO Stores have now been retired, with LEGO Stores across the world remaining closed.

LEGO Stores have proven an important location for fans, with exclusive offers and products offered on top of fan-made and official displays. Another popular offering was the monthly mini builds given away for free once a month, but unfortunately, this program is now retired.

The monthly mini builds webpage on LEGO.com has been updated to reflect this change with it clarifying that the models will no longer be available in LEGO stores. However, fans will always be able to access the instructions for each of the monthly builds in the LEGO Group’s instructions database, including a list of parts.

The future of the program seems uncertain with the webpage not clarifying whether or not the program will continue online or be reintroduced once stores are able to open, with many currently closed across the world in the wake of the ongoing pandemic.

Other LEGO Store offers appear to be continuing including the exclusive deals and sets, with the store calendar for February advertising the exciting month ahead for LEGO fans.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
