More details revealed for LEGO Monkie Kid sets arriving in 2023

Thanks to the Building Instructions site, more details have now been revealed regarding LEGO Monkie Kid sets due to arrive in 2023.

Following initial rumours surrounding the upcoming release of new LEGO Monkie Kid models next year, more details have now emerged regarding sets on their way in 2023. The Building Instructions site has added a number of intriguing listings, confirming recent initial information.

As well as the previously confirmed 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech for January 1, 2023, we can also expect to see 80040 Monkey Kid’s Combi Mech, 80041 Mei’s Dragon Jet, 80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant, 80044 Monkie Kid’s Team Hideout and 30656 Monkey King Marketplace at some point. Note that no release dates, prices or piece counts are currently available for the latter sets just yet, although it’s possible that some may also be available from January 1, 2023.

It was also recently revealed that at least some LEGO Monkie Kid sets will be receiving a collection of golden weapons next year. Images of the box art for 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech show that at least five golden weapons will be available, likely scattered across the rest of the LEGO Monkie Kid models arriving in 2023.
