More details emerge for rumoured LEGO Star Trek GWP
Set-exclusive GWPs are set to continue in 2025, with further rumoured details for a gift to accompany LEGO Star Trek 10356 USS Enterprise D.
First rumoured last week, we now have a rumoured set number for the gift-with-purchase, thanks to reports from the typically reliable a.clay.brick on Instagram. 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod is said to come free with all purchases of the rumoured LEGO Icons 10356 USS Enterprise D, the first-ever LEGO Star Trek set, from November 28. Usually, these GWPs have a time limit of a few days but will often sell out before that window ends.
The brick-built pod is said to also include an exclusive Ensign Ro Laren minifigure. The character made her debut in Season 5 in her titular episode ‘Ensign Ro’. Ro belongs to the Bajoran species and appears humanoid, so wouldn’t require any special or new elements for an accurate depiction.

Of course, we won’t know for sure whether 10356 USS Enterprise D or its possible GWP is in fact on the way until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Considering the 2024 Black Friday set, 10355 The Endurance, wasn’t officially revealed until November 7, we probably have a fair while to wait just yet.

there is no evidence from Lego for any of these things it’s all just speculation. as a huge trek fan I’m obviously very keen to see what comes out, but let’s face it, the majority of the bluebrixx ships look awful. the clean lines of trek ships will be hard to translate to Lego. I would much prefer a set that is an interior, like the bridge, I think that would look much better than a ship.
Disagree. Looking over BlueBrixx I see more than a few designs that I like. Yes there are more terrible designs than good so hopefully Lego doesn’t screw this up.
Seems like a lazy design choice. I realise that it’s period correct, but gosh, it’ll just be a few slanted bricks.
Also really not pleased that LEGO is continuing to release these “set exclusive” GWP sets. Feels like a bit of a ripoff in a multitude of ways :/
