LEGO Star Trek gift-with-purchase rumoured for Black Friday 2025

This year’s rumoured LEGO Black Friday set 10356 USS Enterprise D will reportedly be accompanied by a gift-with-purchase – with an exclusive LEGO Star Trek minifigure…

The LEGO Group is said to be bringing another landmark sci-fi series to shelves towards the end of 2025 in the form of a brick-built USS Enterprise, weighing in at around 3,600 pieces. 10356 USS Enterprise D is rumoured to be this year’s Black Friday set, following in the footsteps of 10335 The Endurance, 76269 Avengers Tower, 10307 Eiffel Tower and so on.

It’s now also thought to be continuing the pattern of most recent direct-to-consumer sets by launching with a limited-edition gift-with-purchase. Instagram user a.clay.brick reports that a Type-15 Shuttlepod will be free with all orders of 10356 Enterprise D from November 28 (Black Friday), 2025, and will include an exclusive Ensign Ro Laren minifigure.

That tallies with initial rumours around the bigger set, which is said to be a minifigure-scale build that includes the main cast of characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Ro first debuted in the Season 5 episode ‘Ensign Ro’ and belongs to the Bajoran – a humanoid species that would require no unique moulded elements to represent as a minifigure.

With that in mind, she seems like a solid candidate for a gift-with-purchase: the LEGO Group would likely be able to piece her together from existing elements (borrowing a torso from the larger LEGO Star Trek set), in the same vein as the ‘exclusive’ Charles Xavier minifigure from 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion’s GWP 5009015 Cerebro.

The existence of any LEGO Star Trek sets has yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group, of course – and given we’re very far out from Black Friday, it’s likely we’ll be waiting quite a while to learn whether these rumours are concrete or not. For now, check out the current rumoured LEGO Icons 2025 slate in the table below, and head here for a complete round-up of all 2025 LEGO sets.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

Ensign Ro would require a bespoke and interesting print for her minifigure head: not only does she wear an elaborate earring in one ear, but she has ridges across the bridge of her nose. I can certainly see it.
