More LEGO Bluey details revealed, including release date

The official homepage for LEGO Bluey has revealed some exciting new details, teasing the future of the theme and an apparent release date.

A landing page for LEGO Bluey has gone live following the announcement of the BBC Studios partnership and while there are no listings on there just yet, there are some interesting details to dig into.

The most exciting revelation on the page comes from a countdown leading up to ‘build mode’. It’s counting down to June 1 at 11:00am in the UK and notably, this countdown was originally much shorter, leading up to something on March 1. It has since been amended to count down to June 1. The reason for this change is unknown but ‘build mode’ seems likely to refer to the theme’s release date – when fans will be able to start building the sets.

Aside from the countdown, the landing page has a Frequently Answered Questions section with a tease for the future of the theme beyond the six confirmed sets.

“To begin with, there will be six new LEGO Bluey sets to appear in 2025 across the LEGO 4+ and LEGO DUPLO® themes. As for the future? Who knows…” reads the Frequently Answered Questions section on the official online store.

Within that answer is not one but two teases for a future of LEGO Bluey, seemingly confirming that the LEGO Group and BBC Studios are open to more from the partnership. For now, we can look forward to six sets but it’s clear that both sides are open to more LEGO Bluey in the years to come.

Both the original announcement and the landing page state that LEGO Bluey will include six sets later this year and rumour has it there will be three LEGO models, two DUPLO builds and a polybag. Take these rumours with caution while we wait for whatever is coming on June 1.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
