Three more LEGO DREAMZzz August 2024 sets revealed

Images of three more LEGO DREAMZzz summer 2024 sets have surfaced through an online retailer, which has also confirmed the next wave will arrive in August.

A LEGO Certified Store gave us a glimpse of the first three LEGO DREAMZzz summer 2024 sets earlier this month, suggesting a tentative release date of May 2024. It now appears that was only a placeholder, however, as JB Spielwaren has published listings for six LEGO DREAMZzz sets with a release date of August 1, 2024.

Those include the previously-revealed 71478 The Never Witch’s Midnight Raven, 71484 Cooper’s Robot Dinosaur C-Rex and 71485 Mateo and Z-Blob the Knight Battle Mech, along with three brand new models in 71479 Zoey’s Cat Motorcycle, 71481 Izzie’s Dream Animals and 71483 The Never Witch’s Nightmare Creatures. Check out details on the three new sets below.

71479 Zoey’s Cat Motorcycle

Coming in at the budget end of the LEGO DREAMZzz scale, 71479 Zoey’s Cat Motorcycle includes two different build configurations (a motorbike or a cat with engine turbines), Zoey, nightmare Cooper, the new dual-moulded raven element and the return of the firing bow and arrow from LEGO Avatar. There’s a lot going on in the box here for just €19.99 (so probably around £17.99 / $19.99).

71481 Izzie’s Dream Animals

Price:€39.99Pieces:328Release date:August 1, 2024

Debuting a brand new red panda element that’s also rumoured to be joining the LEGO City line-up this summer, 71481 Izzie’s Dream Animals verges on a Creator 3-in-1 set: its colourful pieces can be used to assemble either a large red panda, a sea turtle or… some kind of bird. (Ornithologists, now is your time to shine.) The new raven piece pops up again here, along with regular and nightmare Izzie minifigures.

71483 The Never Witch’s Nightmare Creatures

Price:€44.99Pieces:457Release date:August 1, 2024

Good news for Never Witch fans who can’t stump up the €99.99 for 71478 The Never Witch’s Midnight Raven: DREAMZzz Season 2’s big bad also makes an appearance in 71483 The Never Witch’s Nightmare Creatures, which will retail for just €44.99 when it arrives in August. This is another set with three different build options – a raven, wolf and mech – and also includes minifigures of regular and nightmare Mateo, nightmare Logan and nightmare Zoey.

JB Spielwaren has also confirmed EU prices for the three previously-revealed sets. Check those out – and all the other details on LEGO DREAMZzz in 2024 – in the table below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
