The first LEGO theme crossover of its kind is coming soon, and there are many more we need now that the door has been opened.
The recently revealed LEGO Olivia Rodrigo sets include 11507 Olivia Rodrigo's Flower Bouquet, which would be more at home in Botanicals rather than Editions. The box reinforces this, labelling it as both a Botanicals and Editions set at once.
While we have seen models that would usually belong to one theme in another, these crossovers have never been so explicitly confirmed as this one has. Ultimately, this set would probably have been part of LEGO Botanicals alone, but the rest of the Olivia Rodrigo sets are part of the celebrity-focused Editions line. It makes sense to have all of the artist's models in the same place.

However, two themes are still named on the same box, indicating that theme crossovers are possible. Now that these doors are open, here are a few more LEGO themes we'd love to see cross paths in the future.
LEGO Star Wars and Architecture

LEGO Star Wars has sufficiently explored midi-scale and microscale vehicles, but locations at a similar scale would be a logical next step. Places such as Jabba's Palace or the Jedi Temple on Coruscant are ideal for such a set, and at that point, the LEGO Group might as well make it a crossover with LEGO Architecture.

As talented as the LEGO Star Wars design team is, getting the Architecture designers involved would likely elevate the build to a whole new level. Their knowledge of buildings at this scale would be essential, while the LEGO Star Wars team would be able to lend their knowledge and expertise with the franchise to the experience.
LEGO NINJAGO and Botanicals

LEGO NINJAGO is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary and has therefore been exploring display-worthy builds not intended for play. 71847 The Guardian Dragon is one such set, aimed at ages 14 and older. The theme can take this one next step further as it grows further by crossing over with Botanicals.

While dragons, temples, and vehicles are NINJAGO's bread and butter, it has also explored more natural subjects, such as several cherry blossom trees. LEGO Botanicals also has a few of these, and a crossover between the two themes would allow for a new kid of build that mixes display and an assortment of exclusive minifigures, perhaps of the ninja in casual garb enjoying a day off in a serene garden.
LEGO Pokémon, Art and Ideas
One last crossover we'd like to see in the future would be between LEGO Pokémon, Art and Ideas. The LEGO Ideas Pokémon trading card contest will result in a new set inspired by the artwork of Pokémon trading cards. This already creates the potential for a crossover between LEGO Ideas and Pokémon, and both the LEGO Ideas and Pokémon logos will likely be featured on the box.
With the inherent artistic nature of Pokémon's trading cards and the finalists in the contest, though, adding LEGO Art to the mix is also possible, especially if there's a way to wall-mount the eventual set. While this model is upcoming, any sign of a theme crossover is only speculation on our part.
