More Marvel and LEGO panels confirmed for San Diego Comic-Con 2023

San Diego Comic-Con 2023 is almost here and more panels have been revealed from both the LEGO Group and Marvel

Ahead of the event’s start on July 20, until July 23, the schedule of panels at San Diego Comic-Con is continuing to fill up, now with a dedicated webpage

Following Marvel’s initial announcement of their SDCC 2023 plans, a panel specifically for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games has been confirmed. This is likely where we’ll see whatever news regarding the upcoming game surface.

Named Symbiotic Relationships, the panel will include Insomniac Games’ creative director Bryan Intihar, game director Ryan Smith, narrative director Jon Paquette, and senior art director Jacinda Chew. Voice actors Yuri Lowenthal, Nadji Jeter, Laura Bailey, and Tony Todd, along with voice over and creative director Bill Rosemann will also be in attendance.

The panel will focus on the symbiote in the sequel, possibly revealing more of the symbiotic abilities in gameplay or through a trailer. However, nothing specific has been confirmed. It takes place on July 20.

The LEGO Group’s combined NINJAGO and DREAMZzz panel has been announced to feature Keith Malone, head of entertainment development for the LEGO Group, voice actors Sarah Jeffery, Marcos Cardenas, Vincent Tong, Brian Drummond, Larissa Dias and DREAMZzz designer Freddy Charters as well as head of LEGO production Asa Tait, Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke.

Another new panel from the LEGO Group has also been confirmed, focusing on LEGO MASTERS. LEGO MASTERS: Behind the Bricks will include US season 3 winner Stacey Roy, designer and judge Amy Corbett, master model builder Pete Donner, executive producer Robert May, Michael Heyerman Pip Wells, Brent Benedetti, and more guests not yet announced.

As suggested in the name, this panel will take us behind the scenes of the TV show and it seems plausible that it will focus on mostly the US version of the show, but other international iterations may be mentioned too.

Despite the lack of Marvel Studios news at Comic-Con this year, San Diego Comic-Con 2023 should still be a treat for pop culture and LEGO enthusiasts alike when it starts in just under two weeks.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
