More rumoured details emerge about LEGO Star Wars battle pack for 2024

More rumoured details have surfaced about one of the first LEGO Star Wars sets believed to be on its way in 2024.

It might only be September, but rest assured the LEGO Group already has much of 2024 mapped out when it comes to fresh releases. In fact, it’s rumoured that 2024 will kick off with a fresh battle pack, with 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack. With a rumoured price of €29.99 for its 215 pieces, listed at brickmerge.de, it’s quite a large price stage for a battle pack, even more than the recently released 75359 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper Battle Pack. However, rumoured details reported by Promobricks could explain the higher-than-usual price point.

Allegedly, there will be a total of nine minifigures in 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack, the equivalent of two battle packs in one. Promobricks reports that there will be three white Clone Troopers, a Clone Shock Trooper (apparently the same design as in 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship) two regular battle droids and three super battle droids. This will mark the first time we’ve seen the more robust battle droids since 2010 in 8018 Armored Assault Tank (AAT) and the regular droids since 2019 in 75233 Droid Gunship.

While the majority of the 215-piece set will surely be taken up with the minifigures if there’s truly nine in total, there are also rumoured to be a buildable two-seater speeder bike and a small gun position included for the clones. For the droid, they’re believed to get a STAP speeder and an Octuptarra droid. If the number of minifigures and piece count are true, then this would break from the recent trend of large buildable elements, such as the large AV-7 in 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack.

Of course, we won’t know for sure what to expect until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. For now, take these rumours, and those listed below for the rest of the LEGO Star Wars theme in 2024, with a pinch of salt.
