The most expensive LEGO Technic set is now available

One of the biggest and most expensive LEGO Technic sets ever released is now available to order, with everything you need to motorise it.

The latest 18+ LEGO model is now available, offering a complex Technic build that can be remote-controlled and programmed via the CONTROL+ app. 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer dethrones the retiring 42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator as the most costly creation in the theme, with the UK price just beating it by £20.

With 3,854 pieces, four motors of varying sizes and a CONTROL+ hub brick, it’s fair to say that 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer will be a challenge to put together, but one that should provide a satisfying experience afterwards thanks to the CONTROL+ system allowing for full control of the model.

Launching today, October 1, 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer will set shoppers back £419.99 / $449.99 / €449.99 with the hefty build certain to be a talking point on display, thanks in no small part thanks to its new, adjustable and wider tread elements.

A first look at the set via early reviews showcased the power of these motorised elements, with it able to push Star Wars 75309 Republic Gunship with ease. As the first product made in partnership with construction company Caterpillar, it also presents a unique part of brick history.

Ik heb hem, maar de Cat is niet in de control app te vinden.

    Lekker synchroon loopt dat….
