New details emerge regarding rumoured LEGO Marvel 76285 Spider-Man Mask

A number of LEGO Marvel sets may be on the way in early 2024, with fresh details regarding 76285 Spider-Man Mask starting to emerge.

We’re now mere months away from 2024 kicking off, with multiple LEGO sets already confirmed to be launching next year. As well as many officially revealed models, rumours have begun swirling regarding other potential builds that might be arriving soon, including what could be a striking LEGO Marvel set.

Recent rumours suggest that a Spider-Man helmet or bust might be on its way in January 2024, although there’s been no announcement from the LEGO Group regarding any such model so far. Initial details mentioned that 76205 Spider-Man Helmet may be launching sometime around then, with a possible price of $69.99.

Now Instagram user mtdbricks has chimed in with an update on the potential LEGO Marvel set, stating that the build might in fact be called 76285 Spider-Man Mask and drop on January 1. The title change would certainly make a lot of sense, especially considering that Peter Parker’s alter ego doesn’t actually wear a helmet.

In addition, the report also says that the model could retail for €80, putting it roughly in line with the previously-mentioned US price, and that the build may come with 550 pieces. If that proves to be the case, it would match the likes of 76187 Venom and the now retired 76199 Carnage, completing a trio of spider-based character display models.

76285 Spider-Man Mask remains pure rumour at this stage, so do take any such details with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise.
