New LEGO Build-a-Minifigure January 2024 characters available now
Seven new LEGO characters are now available to assemble at Build-a-Minifigure stations in LEGO Stores, with fresh additions to the Castle and Pirates themes among their ranks.
A huge variety of new LEGO minifigure prints are scattered among the seven new designs, along with rarer pieces that are only just beginning to show up in regular LEGO sets. Top of the list for retro fans will be the new Lion Knight – complete with a shield and dual-moulded legs, perfect for bolstering your forces stationed at 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle – and the pirate captain, who’s rocking a blue overcoat, printed legs and a golden sword.
Other pieces of interest here include an orange mohawk, dual-moulded legs in various colour combos – red and yellow, dark tan and brown, green and dark green – a new Chinese New Year torso, pearlescent fairy wings, and a couple of smart printed tiles. While some LEGO Stores will pre-assemble each of the seven new minifigures, you can also build them straight from the bins, customising them with preferred parts and accessories as you see fit.

If you just want to stock up on a bunch of new Lion Knights with various different heads, that’s totally an option. If you fancy amassing an army of snowboarders ready to traverse the slope in 60366 Ski and Climbing Centre, well, go nuts. And if you want to sample all that the Build-a-Minifigure bar has to offer in 2024, go in armed with the images here, originally published by The Brick Post – you’ll need them to check off all the new pieces.
The new Build-a-Minifigure parts will likely be readily available in LEGO Stores for the first quarter of this year, before new elements are cycled in – at which point they might become a bit harder to find. For best results, head down to your local LEGO Store sooner rather than later…
