Multiple new LEGO Disney sets for summer 2023 now available
The LEGO Group continues to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary this year with seven new summer 2023 sets that are all available right now.
The next wave of LEGO Disney 100 sets have dropped online and in-stores today, with seven new models ranging in size, scope and price. From a LEGO Art-inspired display piece, through to an 18+ build for older fans that comes with four unique (and villainous) minifigures.
One highlight of the latest releases is 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons. The 1,022 piece model allows for the creation of 72 iconic characters from the studio’s rich history, which can be combined into a colourful collage. Once completed, your artistic endeavour can be displayed for all to see and the set also comes with an exclusive Mickey Mouse minifigure.
Also of note is 43226 Disney Duos, a 553-piece model that gives fans the opportunity to create eight brick-built versions of familiar film companions. Whether it’s Meeko and Percy from Pocahontas or Beauty and the Beast’s Lumiere and Cogsworth, this charming set is a Disney delight.
Looking for the darker side of LEGO Disney? Then check out 43227 Villain Icons. The 1,540-piece set celebrates the bad guys and girls of the animated world, with minifigures of Maleficent, the Evil Queen in Disguise from Snow White, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast and Jafar Genie from Aladdin. The build also includes brick-built models of two VHS cases, a VHS tape of The Little Mermaid, a book, a Queen of Hearts playing card, a poison apple and a pocket watch, along with many hidden features.
