New LEGO Fortnite features and pass coming this month

The latest update to LEGO Fortnite, including a new LEGO Pass, is right around the corner, focusing on all things gold.

Later this week and month, you can expect some new updates to the various modes and content in LEGO Fortnite, including some additions to Brick Life and Odyssey. Alongside these announced updates, LEGO Kits, including the Durrr Burger Bundle, Beachy Boardwalk Bundle, and Mage’s Favorites Bundle, return to the shop on March 12.

Here’s what to expect from all facets of LEGO Fortnite this month, including the full contents of the next LEGO Pass.

Brick Life

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is still a relatively recent addition to the many modes of LEGO Fortnite, and starting tomorrow, you can play a new football minifigure to earn rewards as many times as you’d like, quickly scoring Creds to upgrade your house.

Players will be able to react to each other’s houses via postboxes with 50 Creds to be earned every time you react to someone’s abode for the first time. Those postboxes will also be home to gifts from various non-player characters when your inventory is too full, ensuring you don’t miss any rewards. Rounding out the announcements is the small but important feature to place furniture at 45-degree angles, allowing for further customisation.

Odyssey

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey (once the only mode in LEGO Fortnite) is getting a few new items on March 25. These include a Recycler Station to finally break down items to most of their core components, including those hundreds of pickaxes you have stored away. Just build a Stone Breaker to unlock the recipe starting March 25.

The new Wall Mounts will be getting an upgrade too, now able to hold non-holdable items for labelling chests in your storage room. Items in mounts that can be turned on or off, such as lightsabers, can now do the same when in mounts as well.

Aside from these two new items, the mode will be updated with sprint attacks, a sprint jump, a weapons journal for a reminder in what you can craft and other various changes and additions.

Goldrush Gallery LEGO Pass

Starting tomorrow, the Goldrush Gallery LEGO Pass will launch (so make sure you’ve finished the current storm-centric pass while you can). The contents of this LEGO Pass include the Rebel Oro and Carmine Rosso outfits, both of which have standard Fortnite outfits, too.

Alongside these two skins, there’s going to be plenty of furniture to earn with experience once you buy the pass, as well as some free rewards. The above images features just a selection of the items available. Two emotes have also been confirmed for the next LEGO Pass. The pass will be available until May 2.

Jack Yates

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
