New LEGO Friends sets take the theme to new heights

LEGO Friends continues its winning streak with a strong wave of 14 sets, all of which are available to purchase right now.

It’s now been half a year since the big theme-wide reboot of LEGO Friends, which introduced a new cast of characters as well as revamped packaging and design sensibilities. The reboot went over well to say the least, and now the second wave of sets in the new age of LEGO Friends are available in stores and on lego.com. The summer sets live up to the high precedent set in the winter, with some truly impressive models that are worth your consideration.

Head to the official online store now and pick up the new LEGO Friends sets.   

The January 1 Friends wave saw the theme’s first 12+ set, a tradition continued in the brand-new 41757 Botanical Garden. This set’s distinctive architecture evokes the classic LEGO Town sub-theme Paradisa, and it makes for an elegant display piece for any LEGO city. Maybe it could even fit in a LEGO Gotham City if a Poison Ivy minifigure could find its way inside.

Another highlight of the wave comes in the form of 41748 Heartlake City Community Center, a super-tall multi-coloured building that can be combined with 41747 Heartlake City Community Kitchen for five whole eye-catching stories.

The rest of the new Friends sets are comprised of a beach and sea rescue sub-theme, two horse-themed sets, and a few other assorted sets to fill out your Heartlake City. Here’s a look at the latest range, available now on LEGO.com.
