New LEGO Friends sets available from January 1

Are you a cat person or a dog person? Either way, the new wave of LEGO Friends sets has got you covered.

The animals of Heartlake City are kicking off the year with a pamper session. 41439 Cat Grooming Car sees the feline population treated to a salon makeover, while 41691 Doggy Day Care puts the canines through a full exercising, washing and grooming regime. Should any of the animals fall ill there is even a new vet helicopter set ready to come flying to the rescue.

Sticking with the animal theme the new range also offers some pocket money-friendly sets. Five small play cube sets each feature one of the Friends, alongside a pet that is randomly rendered in one of four colours. The cubes’ exteriors are playfully decorated to look like the associated pet.

It has already been confirmed that the animal theme is set to continue when even more LEGO Friends sets arrive in March, including a vet’s clinic. The full list of LEGO Friends sets releasing January 1, including the impressive 41449 Andrea’s Family House, is below:
