New LEGO Horizon collaboration rumoured to be ‘ready to go’
A new collaboration between the LEGO Group and Sony hooked to Guerrilla Games’ Horizon franchise is rumoured to be in the works, with a trailer ‘ready to go’.
Reliable source of video game rumours Kurakasis first teased a collab between the LEGO Group and Sony over on X, promising something related to a ‘well-known IP’. Tom Henderson, owner of gaming news website Insider Gaming, has now clarified that the IP in question is Guerrilla Games’ Horizon franchise, which so far consists of Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West and Horizon Call of the Mountain.
According to Tom, Sony has a LEGO Horizon trailer ‘ready to go’, and both sources suggest that an announcement is right around the corner. Rumours of a new showcase from Sony have been swirling separately, and Henderson says that the imminence of a LEGO Horizon drop points to those rumours also being on the money.

The question now is: what are we looking at here? Is this a new LEGO Horizon video game, or another LEGO Horizon set? The two brands first joined forces for 2022’s 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck, and while we’ve heard nothing on the Aloy front since, that set seemed almost universally popular – and the Horizon universe is full of other equally impressive machines ripe for turning into bricks.
But if Sony is dropping a full trailer for something LEGO Horizon-related during a new gaming showcase (or State of Play, as its events are often branded), the safer money is surely on a new video game. A set alone probably wouldn’t require a trailer, and seems like the kind of thing the LEGO Group would take the lead on revealing. We’ve also heard no rumours on any follow-ups to the Tallneck.
We’ll hopefully learn more about this rumoured collaboration in the days and weeks ahead, especially if an announcement really is… on the horizon. (That’s Tom’s joke, don’t blame us.)
