New LEGO Insiders patches reference M-Tron and Ice Planet

LEGO Insiders can now pick up a trio of patches to customise previous rewards, referencing M-Tron, Ice Planet, and the classic LEGO Trains range.

Following 2023’s LEGO Insiders cap and patch set, the LEGO Group is expanding the selection of patches you can attach to the cap or the cross-body bag with three new items inspired by 1990’s M-Tron, 1966’s train sets and 1993’s Ice Planet 2002

The reward costs 1,000 points, which is worth around £7. You can claim it by clicking here using points earned from online or in-store LEGO purchases made as a member of the free program. While the cap is featured in official imagery, it is not included in this reward.

Once you have the patches, you don’t just have to attach them to official LEGO clothing; you’ll be able to do with them as you please. They should work just like any other patches to decorate clothing, bags and more.

Hopefully, these won’t be the last of the nostalgic patches to reference the various other LEGO themes that have come and gone. It would be great to expand this collection to more recent themes, including Atlantis and Power Miners, but right now it’s sticking to more classic ranges.

It’s worth noting that while you’re on the LEGO Insiders reward centre, 40787 Spiny Shell is still available, as well as the quartet of discounted Micro NINJAGO City models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
