Some other new LEGO Jurassic World sets may be revealed today

The LEGO Group’s database of instructions has added the names of three new Jurassic World sets, suggesting a reveal is imminent.

The Jurassic World theme has been a surprisingly resilient one for The LEGO lineup. Since its launch in 2015, sets inspired by both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World have released under this umbrella. Now three new sets are appearing for 2022, including one that pays homage to Jurassic Park’s T. rex scene.

The three sets are 76956 T. rex Breakout, 76951 Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Breakout, and 76950 Triceratops Pick-up Truck Ambush. The first one has just been revealed, and includes a T. rex and two Ford Explorers: one crushed, one intact. It also comes with minifigures of Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm and Tim and Lex Murphy.

Fewer details are available on the others, but it’s likely that they’ll connect to Jurassic World: Dominion. The first trailer for the film appeared yesterday, with the film itself scheduled for a June 2022 release. A herd of Triceratops can be seen in the trailer, which may connect to 76950.

As such, we’re awaiting the reveal of these new sets with bated breath. Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait too long.
