Four new LEGO Looney Tunes keyrings launching next month

A quartet of LEGO Looney Tunes minifigure keyrings are on the way in June, repurposing four characters from last year’s Collectible Minifigures series.

When you think of Looney Tunes, you think of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Wile E. Coyote. 71030 Looney Tunes covered all three of those characters and nine more, but just one of them is among the new keyrings arriving on LEGO Store shelves next month.

854199 Daffy Duck Keyring will be joined by Taz the Tasmanian Devil, Sylvester and Tweety, providing four potential options for equipping your keys with cartoon LEGO minifigures. Like the newly-released 71033 The Muppets, these characters all boast unique head moulds atop traditional minifigure bodies, so it’s no surprise the LEGO Group is trying to get a bit more mileage out of them.

Here’s the full list of LEGO Looney Tunes keyrings launching soon:

854190 Sylvester Keyring
854199 Daffy Duck Keyring
854200 Tweety Key Chain

The LEGO Group’s distinction between a keyring and a key chain remains as opaque as ever, but look past that classification: there’s nothing discernibly different about Tweety, so the bright yellow bird will sit happily on your keys with the rest of them. You know, if you fancy walking around with a third of a Collectible Minifigures series in your pocket.

All four of these keyrings will launch on June 1 worldwide, for £4.99 / $5.99 / €4.99 apiece. Check out our review of the original Collectible Minifigures series here.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
