New LEGO Star Wars content now available in Fortnite

LEGO Fortnite today introduces new skins and the LEGO Fortnite Star Wars Survival mode to the game, just in time for the weekend.

A fresh update to LEGO Fortnite brings LEGO Styles for Poe Dameron, The Emperor, Captain Phasma, and General Grievous. These are available via the Battle and LEGO Pass as part of the ongoing Galactic Battle season.

Each pass costs 1,400 in-game V-Bucks, which equates to around $14, or around £10. For the new First Order Lego Pass, as one example, you’ll get not just the Captain Phasma skin, but also a few new First Order-themed builds in the pass, as well as a jam track and an emote to go with your new LEGO Style.

There’s also the new Rapid Survival mode that’s just kicked off, offering players the chance to compete against other players via a matchmaking system. It takes place on a time-limited version of the Star Wars island, where Fortnite gamers will have four hours to experiment. Progress is therefore accelerated, but the session will end as soon as you’re killed for a rapid-fire, high-energy experience. If you want to give it a go, Rapid Survival will only be available until May 26.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
