New and returning LEGO gifts-with-purchase available now online and in-store

One new and one returning gift-with-purchase are now available at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores, but you’ll need to be a VIP member to get your hands on one of them.

As rumoured, 41960 Big Box and 40590 Houses of the World 2 are both free with qualifying purchases from today through June 28, or while stocks last. The former freebie is a LEGO DOTS set that usually retails for £19.99 / $34.99 / €24.99, but is yours when spending at least £65 / $70 / €70 on LEGO City, Disney Princess, DOTS, Friends and/or Harry Potter sets.

40590 Houses of the World 2, meanwhile, returns from its initial run in April at the same threshold – which means you’ll need to spend at least £220 / $250 / €250 across any and all themes. This one is only available to LEGO VIP members, so make sure you’ve signed up to the LEGO Group’s loyalty program and logged into your account before placing an order.

Pick-a-brick orders of Standard parts do not count towards either of these gifts-with-purchase, but those labelled Bestseller should contribute toward the total required spend for 40590 Houses of the World 2. Otherwise, fill your boots: there are plenty of new sets that will take you to that threshold, including 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box and 71799 NINJAGO City Markets.

Both 41960 Big Box and 40590 Houses of the World 2 are available through June 28, or while stocks last. In the US, 40607 Summer Fun VIP Add-on Pack is also still available with orders above $50 until the same date. And all these freebies stack, so a $250 spend on LEGO Harry Potter, DOTS, Friends, City or Disney Princess sets in the US will net you three gifts-with-purchase in one fell swoop.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
