No worldwide availability for LEGO DC 77906 Wonder Woman

The LEGO Group has confirmed that DC 77906 Wonder Woman will only be available to fans in the USA.

Over the weekend, DC 77906 Wonder Woman launched at LEGO.com for fans in the USA to coincide with DC FanDome, an online event celebrating DC Comics properties. Only fans in the USA and Canada can order the set, leading to questions about the LEGO Group’s promise to no longer have regional exclusive products.

The loophole that this was an event exclusive means though that this set will not be available worldwide. Here is the official explanation from the LEGO AFOL Engagement Team:

It turns out this set was originally going to be the 2020 San Diego Comic Con exclusive. Since that SDCC was canceled they found this weekends event provided a relevant opportunity to release the set. While the new virtual DC event was global, the product was not produced to be global and will therefore only be available to be in the US.

77906 Wonder Woman is inspired by Issue 6 of the original comic book run, and it’s no coincidence that the set includes Cheetah in her classic costume – 76157 Wonder Woman vs Cheetah, based on the upcoming movie, features a modern iteration of their battle.
