Peugeot drivers react to LEGO Technic 42156 Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar
The LEGO Group brought LEGO Technic 42156 Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar to the Peugeot drivers to see what they think of the brick-built replica.
Peugeot driver Jean-Éric Vergne is a long-term LEGO fan himself, having built models as a child, so he seemed particularly excited to see the LEGO Technic version of the hypercar he drives in the flesh (or brick, perhaps we should say). He complimented the authenticity of the build, saying he wants one of his own.
“It gives a hint of how the car is actually built,” he observed. “From the engine to the suspension, to the aerodynamics of the car, to the seating position, the steering column and how it works – it looks fantastic.”

Indeed, authenticity is the name of the game with 42156 Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar, as a 1:10 scale model of the real car that also comes with many of the same real-life functions, in true LEGO Technic style.
